So I will be taking a break from the podcast for the summer to recharge and re-focus.
When I started the #WellnessWednesdays podcast more than 2 years ago, it was to share all kinds of cool stories and tips from some of the best minds in the health and wellness sphere. And to sharpen my conversational skills. And I think I did that with more than 70 interviews (and some monologues) to share wisdom about meditation, sleep and mental health.
Here are some questions I hope you ask yourself this summer:
Am I doing something concrete for my wellness?
-It could be something as simple as a walk in the woods or a silent cup of coffee in the backyard. Or a quick meditation or yoga session. Or maybe something more substantial like a hike, a bike tour or a float (aka sensory deprivation therapy)?
What works for me?
-Have you tried something new recently? You might be surprised to know what works for you, like fasting and meditation did for me. Have you read a book recently about a subject that interests you? As they say, the mind is a terrible thing to waste!
Who are some guests I’d like to hear more from?
-Are there some hidden gems out there you’d like to have on the podcast? The beauty of this topic is almost anyone can come on and share some insights. And it’s always great to get feedback from readers/listeners while broadening my circle of information.
Don’t worry, I will be doing the same. Promise.
As always, it’s all about the journey. Keep me posted on yours and I plan on doing the same!
