Is running bad for your joints?

I just came across an article in Metro this week looking at running and its impact on the joints. It seems running isn’t bad for your joints. Who knew?!? Haha!

The article talks about the assumption that running, especially in older folks, would cause arthritis. It seems that it’s not the case.

It seems what’s important for the health of your joints is proper technique and following the principle of gradual progress. Why does that sound familiar?

The study also found older runners tend to be healthier than non-running counterparts. And that exercise is good for you. Oh really?

So the excuses not to get out there and run seem to be shrinking by the minute. What are you waiting for? Get out there and run!
