What a wonderful weekend

These are the weekends that recharge the batteries and get you pumped for your day-to-day.

Aren’t 3-day weekends the best?!? I had the pleasure of taking off early on Friday to go visit one of my favourite families in Richmond Hill. I got to play Uncle Eric for my Godson (he’s a bit bigger than that now) and his brother and sister. Fun stuff!

Saturday was spent at the Marriott by the Pearson Airport for the ViSalus Canadian Pre-Launch Party. All the founders and the top people in the company were there to explain how the BodyByVi 90-day challenge will take over this wonderful country of ours. It was great to hear the stories of some really successful people and how they got to where they are.

Sunday was started by working out in the Radisson gym and then on the road to Kingston. I taught a workshop during the afternoon at the Invista Centre for some members of the Kingston MultiSport Club. Great group and I think they did really well in picking up the technique. Like I always say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, but these folks looked focused and enthused.

The local running community is fairly vibrant so it looks like I will be back in Kingston in the next few months to do another workshop. Stay tuned for details!

I also came across this great video recently, a simplified version of ChiRunning. This video is great if you’re just learning more about ChiRunning, but it’s also good a great reminder for the experienced ChiRunners as it hits all the basics. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H26liWMDH8U]

It’s about 10 minutes long but to me it’s well worth it. Enjoy and let me know how you like it!
