Leaving on a jet plane

I love travelling, I don’t know why. It’s even better these days since most of my travel is business related (and thus a business expense)!

I find travel makes you change your mood and state of mind instantly. There are not many things (legal ones anyway) that can boast that claim. And it’s relatively cheap these days.

It’s not my biggest/longest trip ever but I’m looking forward to going to Halifax tomorrow. It’s partly due to the fact that these will be my first workshops outside of Ontario, maybe it’s because it’s supposed to be nine degrees on Sunday for a long run or the fact that I’m flying with Porter. Or none of the above.

I love Porter and everything it stands for. Their customer service is incredible and it’s such a treat since most other airlines do a very poor job at this. I also love the fact that they have free WiFi and coffee and biscotti in their lounge. They also make it relatively painless to change flights and/or book online. It makes you feel like a VIP, and their fares are usually cheaper than their competition to boot.

I use them as much as I can but unfortunately they only fly to select cities on the Eastern part of Canada and the U.S. I actually like the fact that they’re staying (relatively) small. They seem to want to do something and do it well. Kudos to Porter, I’ll even have a drink in their honour when they serve me one on my next flight.

I will try to post something on the weekend but it will be a pretty full one. Check out my Twitter profile (_ECinc) for more updates and some pics.

Have an awesome week/weekend folks and I promise more good stuff next week!
