What do I know?

Before I headed to California to become a certified ChiRunning, I thought I had a good understanding of the technique. Boy was I in for a shock. After a very intense week of learning, I then thought I knew my stuff. Then I started teaching. And now I have no clue…

The more you learn, the more you realize you don’t know much. That really was the case with ChiRunning as well. Every time I get to teach someone new or I get see someone run, I learn. And I realize I don’t know much…

I try to have a well-rounded approach to life. Most folks who have a PhD are brilliant but like my friend Jane (who has a PhD) says, they know a lot about very little. They are not dumb but society forces them to be highly specialized.

And this video is not only funny but also brilliant. And it makes you think. And I’m sorry for those who have already seen it. It always makes me think and smile.

Fake it til you make it!

P.S. And every-time I watch it, it makes me realize this speaker is incredible. So engaging!

And here’s a new-ish resume of study in Running World that looks at injury rates in midfoot vs heel strikers. Interesting read, even if it just scratches the surface.

It also quotes our good friend Blaise Dubois from therunningclinic.ca.
