Spring means different things to different people: Golfing in layers, running in shorts, flowers blooming…
For me it also means I will be doing some more road trips to spread the ChiRunning gospel. This year is no exception even if the tour has been downsized a bit and delayed by the polar vortex of a winter we had.
It starts in Petawawa this Saturday afternoon where I’m going back to teach another workshop brought to you by VC Athletic Therapy. One more spot available in this one. I love going back to the Ottawa Valley. Great folks and pretty scenery, what’s not to like?
I will then be in Montreal next Sunday (May 4) for two events. I’m excited to do a Running the Yoga Way workshop with Julien Gagnon at Ashtanga Yoga Montreal. A great two-hour session where we run, do some yoga and talk about all the connections in between. I will also be doing a ChiRunning workshop that afternoon. I plan on coming back to Montreal this summer for both workshops so stay tuned for more dates.
I’m then doing an Intro to ChiRunning workshop in Ottawa on the following Saturday (May 10). It will be my first outdoor workshop of the year in the city, held at Mooney’s Bay Park.
I will be concluding the May portion of my travels with some time spent in Nova Scotia. I will be in Lunenburg in the GO Fit Studios on Saturday, May 24 and on that Sunday in Halifax at Kinesio Sport Lab. I’ve also been approached about doing a Running the Yoga Way workshop at a local studio while I’m down there so who knows!
As always, check the schedule for all the latest and to register.
And let me know if your city’s not on here, I might be able to make it work if there’s enough interest!
