Another week is almost done and I have some more cool stuff to share from the worlds of fitness, triathlon and of course, running!

First up are some pro tips from our friend Simon Donato, ultramarathon and long-distance racing extraordinaire. In this guide, he tries to help you prepare for your first ultra by giving some tips and trusted advice.

If you’re in Alberta, you can also get his gluten-free kick ass oatmeal (Stoked Oats) at some of Jugo Juice locations.

Yoga is just for women, right? Think again, and I’m not just saying that because I do yoga on a regular basis. Here’s a quick look at what yoga has to offer men from MindBodyGreen.

One point the author forgot: Yoga also brings out the best of both sexes, whether it’s clothing or smiling. That is all I’ll say… Namaste!

Do you pronate? Does it matter when it comes to injuries? Check out this new blog post by the New York Times about a new study on the subject. It’s interesting where the science is going and what it’s saying about it all.

And last but not least. Ever had one of those days? We all do! Here’s a great little exercise my good friend Tania Fréchette did to combat all the negative self talk. List some of the blessings you have on a daily basis. You will amaze yourself. And you might even make someone’s day like Tania did for me (I made the list!).
