Do you need new resources for information on everything run related? If so, this post is for you!

A great resource is Runblogger.com. Pete is a very knowledgeable guy and very passionate about running. The bad news is that he’s leaving academia. The good news is that he’s going to do more on his blog it seems. A great resource for cool stories and gear/shoe reviews.

Here’s a great first person account on what can happen when you stop trying to go fast all the time and concentrate on listening to the body. This is from Ian Loughead, a top local age-grouper in Nova Scotia.

I’m a big fan of heart rate training and it’s what I preach with my athletes. Especially since HR monitors and other gadgets are so cheap these days.

People think runners and endurance athletes are crazy. But according to new research, exercise is helping a lot of people make sure  they don’t go crazy and is a key to depression. Here’s a look from Metro News about the new study published in the Journal of Psychiatric Practice.

I totally get it since if I had a bad day, the best thing for me is get outdoors and sweat. Or have a drink. Or both!
