On to another adventure!

On to another adventure!

This trip, like most, will include a lot of firsts for me. First ultramarathon, first time in Manitoba, first time using
Google Ads as a primary tool to advertise my workshops, etc.

I’m going to be out of my comfort zone a few times this weekend and I don’t just mean the fatigue I might encounter after
50k through a national park in North Dakota. And I’m looking forward to it.

I find one of the best ways to grow as a person is to launch yourself into new adventures, whatever they might entail. And
then every time you attempt something new you will have all the previous experiences to draw on and that provides instant
confidence.

Every marathon starts with a short run to see if you actually like running. Then some training. Then you’re either insane,
hooked or compelled to do the darn thing.

Do I ever get scared? Yes, of course I do. Do I let it stop my sometime crazy mind from trying new things? Usually not.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to sign up tomorrow for a Boundless-type of adventure (eight crazy races in five months) but at
least now I’m actually considering one of those…

Are you not ready to take the ChiRunning plunge but looking to see if your posture is up to snuff. For those who haven’t
taken my workshop yet, I’m doing a special posture workshop at the end of the month with the help of some local
chiropractors.

The 90-minute session will take place in the east end of Ottawa on the night of Tuesday, March 26. See this link for all
the details.
